This time I went with some local solid Irish oak I had that has some sunning features and mixed this with solid brass for a nice simple but elegant piece ...
Turns out fire & wood are a good combination! The flame burnt finish on the oak makes it almost look like walnut! The polished natural beeswax completes the pieces.
